Benjamin Castaldi will leave Cyril Hanouna’s program “Touche pas à mon poste” (TPMP), of which he had been a regular columnist for seven years, to devote himself to a play about his family, he announced Thursday at Parisien . “There is no discomfort or anger. We are still very good friends with Cyril. But by mutual agreement, we thought it would not be bad to take a break, ”says the former host of “Loft Story”, who has several times been Cyril Hanouna’s replacement.
This departure follows that of another pillar of TPMP, Mathieu Delormeau, who announced in May that he was leaving “definitively” the flagship program of C8, accustomed to controversy, which earned him multiple warnings and sanctions from Arcom (ex-CSA) against C8. At the start of the school year, two new columnists will join the TPMP team: television hosts Évelyne Thomas and Alex Goude.
A show in Paris
Referring to his future, Benjamin CastaldI speaks of a “goodbye” and specifies that he has “no short or long-term TV project”. “I always want to come back with a game or entertainment. It’s what I do best. If they call me, I will answer,” he said. For the time being, he intends to devote himself to “Bungalow 21”, a show inspired by an intimate and yet well-known episode in the life of his grandmother, the actress Simone Signoret.
