Trailer Super-hero despite himself: Philippe Lacheau parodies a cult scene from Spider-Man

Discover the first delirious images of Philippe Lacheau’s new comedy: Super-heroes despite him. The film will be released on February 2, 2022 on the big screen.

After Nicky Larson and the perfume of Cupid, which gathered 1.6 million spectators in 2019, Philippe Lacheau and his band are back in Super-heroes despite himself.

The story follows Cédric, an apprentice actor in trouble. The latter finally lands his first role in a superhero film named Badman. One evening, when he borrows the filming car, he is the victim of an accident which causes him to lose his memory.

When he wakes up, dressed in his vigilante costume and surrounded by the film’s props, he is convinced that he has become the character of the film with a perilous mission to accomplish. But is not a hero and even less a superhero who wants… And even less Cédric.

True to form, Fifi’s band, made up of Julien Arruti, Tarek Boudali and Elodie Fontan, multiplies the gags and delusional situations. Philippe Lacheau even summons the Marvel universe with references to Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor or Iron Man. He also allows himself to parody the famous kiss scene from Spider-Man, in which Tobey Maguire, his head upside down, kissed Kirsten Dunst.

Obviously, the outcome of this supposedly romantic moment does not end like in Sam Raimi’s film, Badman quickly finding himself without pants in front of his sweetheart. The latter is camped by Alice Dufour, who has already collaborated with Lacheau on Babysitting and Alibi.com. Before unveiling the first images, the filmmaker revealed the poster on his Instagram account, announcing a preview tour.

Super-heroes despite himself will land in theaters on February 2, 2022. Philippe Lacheau is directing the film and playing the main role. He also wrote the screenplay alongside Pierre Dudan, Pierre Lacheau and Julien Arruti. The film opened the Alpe d’Huez Comedy Festival on Monday January 17, 2022 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the event.
