The summer drink of 2024 is…

The British society magazine “Tatler” recently named the Pomello Spritz the hottest drink in London’s bar and club scene. Instead of sipping the Aperol Spritz like in previous years, today you would spot the hip kids from good families at the bar with a pink drink in their hand. The Pomello Spritz has real trendsetter potential. Whoever orders it shows clearly: I belong to the in-crowd.

Unlike the Aperol Spritz, this time it is not Italy who is responsible for the creation of the summer drink, but Sweden. At least the Scandinavian country is home to the main ingredient. The unique mixture of grapefruit and elderflower that makes up the Pomello apertif becomes particularly sparkling and refreshing as a long drink with the addition of Prosecco and sparkling water.
