After Trolls (2016) and its sequel Trolls 2 – World Tour in 2020, Poppy and Branch are back for a third psychedelic adventure on the big screen!
Directed by Walt Dohrn, already at the helm of the second opus, the feature film returns to Branch’s youth, still voiced by Justin Timberlake in the original version, and by Matt Pokora in French. Anna Kendrick once again lends her voice to Poppy in the American version and Vitaa once again takes up the role in French.
After two films of hanging around and finally falling into each other’s arms, Poppy and Branch are officially a couple (#broppy)! When they no longer have any secrets from each other, Poppy makes an incredible discovery about Branch’s past. At the time, with his four brothers, Floyd (Troye Sivan), John Dory (Eric André), Spruce (Daveed Diggs) and Clay (Kid Cudi), they formed the hottest boy band of the moment, BroZone. When he was just a child, the group broke up, as did the family, and Branch has never seen his brothers since.

But when Floyd, the eldest of the siblings, is kidnapped by the worst villains of Pop stars, Velvet and Veneer, who are after his musical talent, Branch and Poppy will embark on a poignant and upsetting adventure in order to reunite the enemy brothers and save Floyd from a fate even more dire than that of living in the oblivion of Pop Culture.
Faithful to previous opuses, the Dreamworks animated film is colorful and punctuated by pop music classics and new titles.
Announced in our theaters for October 18, 2023, Trolls 3 is the second Dreamworks animated film to be released in theaters this year after Ruby, the Kraken Teenager scheduled for June 28.
