TUTORIAL Asgard’s Wrath 2: the Sanrazu Games studio forgets the essentials, how to restart a new game?

As said Orelsan in one of his songs, Sometimes it is necessary to repeat basics which may seem as simple as they are basic. The studio Sanzaru Games is no exception since the latter has not provided for its flagship title, Asgard’s Wrath II, any backup management. It is therefore impossible in-game to overwrite your save, restart the game or create several profiles on the same account. But do not worry, we are here to help you start the game againwhile waiting for a possible patch.

If, following a mishandling, you have skipped the introduction revealing the plot of the first episode (or you have changed your mind), know that you will not be able to watch it again afterwards, because the game only offers one save, and you don’t have control over it. Here’s how to restart a new game.


  • Exit Asgard’s Wrath 2 (if it is not done yet) ;

  • Go to settings and the search bar (at the top, near the magnifying glass) (1), type the word cloud and click Cloud backup (2);

  • You will need to uncheck the backup in the cloud (as in the image below). (3)

  • Go to storage settings (second block in leftmost column) (04) And search for Asgard’s Wrath 2, then click Delete data. (05) A warning window appears, click yes;

  • Go to this site (from your headset, your PC or Smartphone):
    https://secure.oculus.com/my/cloud-backup/ ;To ensure that your next new game does not crash with the one available in the cloudlook for your backupAsgard’s Wrath II and click DELETE. (06). If nothing appears, identify yourself (logo at the top right of the web page).

    Note :
    As soon as you have successfully restarted your new game, do not hesitate to reactivate the save option in the cloud.

  • To be on the safe side, restart the headset;

  • Optional : launch QGO before (otherwise you will not benefit from the beginning with the definition which goes well) then make your adjustments if you have not already done so;

  • Launch Asgard’s Wrath II, if you see the shader compilation And the invitation to choose your language, you are good. All you have to do is restart the game to enjoy it, just like when you launched it for the first time.
