In "Love is unpredictable" (Das Erste), Heino Ferch, a shy math professor, receives uninvited support. On RTL Zwei, a group of bank robbers in Los Angeles hit the tough "Criminal Squad" (RTL Zwei).

Leonard (Heino Ferch) and Judith (Tanja Wedhorn) have little in common. He is a math professor who loves solitude and avoids other people. Judith, on the other hand, enjoys being around people at her job in the campus café and lets herself into unusual ideas. This also includes the plan of her long-term affair Stefan (Knut Berger) to smuggle her into the academic world without studying. Without further ado, Stefan, in his role as head of PR at the university, creates a new kind of educational series out of the ground and forces Leonard to inspire schoolchildren for the magic of numbers.

8:15 p.m., RTL two, Criminal Squad, Action

Los Angeles – in hardly any other city are so many banks being robbed and vans cleared out as here. The experienced gangster gang of ex-convict Ray Merrimen (Pablo Schreiber) is also addicted to easy money. But when one of their raids leads to several deaths, the outlaws are targeted by the unscrupulous cop "Big Nick" O'Brien (Gerard Butler) and his special unit. Even ready to cross the line between good and evil, the investigators begin a merciless hunt for the criminals. Because they plan nothing less than to crack the best secured financial institution in town: the Federal Reserve Bank.

Three shots in the street, the doctor Dr. Joachim Schober (Hans B. Goetzfried) dies immediately, his acquaintance can flee unrecognized – the revenge of a wrongly treated patient? For Vera Lanz (Katharina Böhm) and her team, the traces at the crime scene are thin. The witness statements are vague. Nobody saw anything in the adjoining house. And yet there is a connection to Schober there. The psychotherapist Janneke Blumberg (Sophie von Kessel) also treats Schober's patients.
