In “Kin” (RTLzwei) the boy Eli finds an extraterrestrial high-tech weapon. With “Let’s Dance” (RTL) the big professional challenge rises. In addition, the “public prosecutor” (ZDF) investigates after a chlorine gas murder.

The young Eli (Myles Truitt) grows up with his father Hal (Dennis Quaid) after the death of his mother. On one of his forays into an abandoned factory building, Eli finds a mysterious object that seems to be out of this world. At first he keeps his find a secret, but when his newly released older brother Jimmy (Jack Reynor) is threatened in front of gang boss Taylor (James Franco), Eli uses the device, which turns out to be a futuristic high-tech weapon. Little does he know that this will make them hunted all the more. Suddenly not only gangsters and the police are after them, but also alien soldiers.
