As it turns out, it belongs to former CIA employee Osborne Cox (John Malkovich) and contains allegedly explosive information about the US secret service. The two fitness professionals sense the chance of their lives and decide to blackmail Cox. With their amateurish approach, however, the duo sets a chain of hair-raising events in motion.

Betrayed by his own people and seriously injured, Riddick (Vin Diesel) has to make his way on an uninhabited desert planet. Although he is aware of the danger, he makes an emergency call from an abandoned station. This attracts a troop of unscrupulous bounty hunters.
