In “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” (ProSieben) the telepath Jean Gray becomes a threat to herself and others. The Viennese “Tatort” team (Das Erste) investigates the death of a senior official. The top chef meets Natascha Ochsenknecht at the Mother’s Day special from “Grill den Henssler” (VOX).

An incident during a rescue mission in Earth orbit forces Jean Gray (Sophie Turner) to absorb enormous amounts of energy. These not only strengthen the mutant’s telekinetic powers, so that they become a danger to her and others, but also break through a mental barrier set up by Professor X (James McAvoy) to protect Jean from her past.

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, crime scene: conspiracy, crime thriller

A summer in Vienna. It is hot. Too hot. Bibi (Adele Neuhauser) jogs through the forest and quite by chance runs into a senior official from the Interior Ministry. A little later the man is dead. Moritz Eisner (Harald Krassnitzer), who in a few days is to start a long-awaited project at Europol and the EU anti-corruption agency OLAF in The Hague, decides to take on this case. But is it even a case? The ministry is pushing for the cause of death to be presented as a simple heart attack.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Marie catches fire: Game of Life, family film

Marie (Christine Eixenberger) manages to save two children on a lake just in time. Her father just forgot about her. Since the death of his wife, he has become more and more addicted to gambling. And also Philipp (Julian Looman), the father of Marie’s son Max (Moritz Regenauer), seems to forget that he is a father. He just disappears and leaves the disappointed Max behind. Marie has to protect her family and decides that Philipp has no place in her life.

8:15 p.m., VOX, Grill den Henssler, cooking show

At the Mother’s Day special from “Grill den Henssler”, Steffen Henssler has to be prepared for Natascha Ochsenknecht with mother Bärbel Wierichs, Sarah Lombardi with mother Sonja Strano Engels and Moritz Sachs with his “Lindenstrasse” mother and “mother of the nation” Marie-Luise Marjan do. This time the mums act as cooking coaches and take their place next to the stove.

Zeki Müller (Elyas M’Barek), meanwhile a teacher at the Goethe Comprehensive School, is ready for vacation because getting up early, correcting classwork and annoying teenagers are not his thing at all.
