When PlayStation Productions announced a series adaptation in Twisted Metal, which is not the most popular of its franchises nor the best known for its screenplay, there was something to be curious about. But we have to admit, the first trailer made us want to see more of this comedy action series with short episodes.

And the second trailer unveiled today continues to make us salivate. It immerses us in this post-apocalyptic world where criminals have been sent out of fortified cities, somewhere between New San Francisco And Vegas. A delivery man played by Anthony Mackie will meet a client camped by Neve Campbell, a not very talkative thug played by Stephanie Beatriz, a cop with muscular methods in the person of Thomas Haden Church and the crazy sweettooth dubbed by Will Arnett, among others, for sequences that will mix cynical humour, bloody jokes and sequences in powered up carsfor a rendering that promises to be original.
Series Twisted Metal still to be released from July 27, 2023 on the video-on-demand site peacock across the Atlantic. In Europe and particularly in France, no broadcaster has yet appeared.
