Amouranth, streamer and now gamer in her spare time, has been talked about on the web. Between her hot-tub streams, or her Onlyfans account, we didn’t think she would one day get into the gaming world… and yet. At the beginning of January, it invested two million dollars in Activision Blizzard, two months after the takeover of the industry giant by Microsoft. Recently, she had also expressed her desire to own her own Fortnite skin.
But while she had only touched a gaming keyboard a few times live on Twitch, she discovered a new passion: Valorant. A hobby that has triggered the hysteria of some fans, sometimes ready to do anything to find themselves virtually in front of their favorite influencer.
Players learn to speak English to play with Amouranth
You read correctly. Some non-English speaking players have learned to speak English in just 15 minutes in order to be able to chat with the streamer in game, and thus teach her the basics of virtual combat. Hasan Abione of the biggest streamers in the world, streamed one of Amouranth’s learning sessions, and the result is rather comical.
Amouranth is therefore accompanied by Turkish players/streamers who, with their English learned in 15 minutes, are trying somehow to teach her to play. Of Turkish origin, the streamer was able to decipher what was going on there. We therefore hear apologies from the opposing team when they dare to eliminate the streamer, but also complaints from the Valorant sensei of Amouranth, somewhat desperate for his level…beginner.
A bit of context…
In Turkey, Amouranth is very very very (very) popular. Her community in the country is very active and always seems to be there to follow her in her various projects. This is why, when she announced her launch on Valorant, many non-bilingual Turkish players/streamers jumped on their English dictionary to learn as many words as possible in order to best support the streamer.
Amouranth knows she can count on her community, and she is currently in good hands. Who knows, maybe in the future, the streamer will set her sights on other video game productions? All this for one day to become a real pro in the field.
