A Flock cannot group more than 150 subscribers
The social network talked about this feature, then dubbed “ Trusted Friends “, last July. Alessandro Paluzzi, a developer, has now spotted lines of code in the Twitter app devoted to the feature. The latter has changed its name and is called ” flock ” for the moment. Concretely, this allows users to choose up to 150 of their subscribers to add them to their Flock, that is to say a list of close friends, and to send tweets that will only be visible to These persons. They can also answer it.
As Alessandro Paluzzi explains, when a person finds himself in someone’s list, he may read: ” You can see this tweet because the author added you to his Flock under the posts that will be dedicated to the Flock. However, no notification will be sent to a user if he is removed from a list.
To send a tweet to his Flock, an option will be available when publishing it. This functionality is very similar to what is displayed when sending Stories on Instagram.
