Two cases in Old Town – Smoking a joint while riding an e-scooter

After this “relaxation joint”, the 40-year-old e-scooter driver was probably not quite as relaxed. The police caught him and reported him. A car driver 20 years younger tested positive for cocaine.

A 40-year-old e-scooter driver from Salzburg gave the police a bit of work on the evening of December 3rd when he was driving without lights and smoking a joint while driving. The following inspection revealed not only the driver’s intoxicated state, but also his unfitness to drive. He was reported under the Road Traffic Act and the Narcotic Substances Act. Positive for cocaine On the same day, a car driver was caught by a police patrol in the old town. A 20-year-old car driver from Salzburg reacted positively to cocaine in a drug test. The medical officer determined he was unfit to drive, his driver’s license was temporarily revoked and a report was filed.
