(CercleFinance.com) – The UBS board of directors approved on Thursday the merger agreement between UBS and Credit Suisse which will give birth next year to the leading Swiss banking group.
The Swiss bank specifies that the boards of directors of the entities UBS Group SA, UBS SA and Credit Suisse AG have also definitively ratified the merger project.
The merger, initially announced last June, is expected to be completed in 2024, subject to regulatory approvals, but UBS estimates the integration process could take between three and five years.
