Whether you need a source of energy while camping, for DIY outdoors or to deal with a power outage, Ugreen offers three new electrical stations that can be combined with solar panels.

Popularized in recent years by the explosion in energy costs, portable power stations offer versatility that lends itself to multiple uses. Equipped with connectivity compatible with most domestic devices (220V socket, USB, 12/24V), they provide energy autonomy for a wide variety of needs: camping, boating, DIY or gardening with electric tools, outdoor events air, etc.

It is also an emergency solution in the event of a power outage, the most powerful models being capable of powering large household appliances (fridge, freezer, television, washing machine, dryer, etc.). Recharged with solar panels, a power station can also help save money on powering energy-intensive devices.

BYD batteries from the automotive industry

In this market where there are established brands such as EcoFlow or Jackery, Ugreen is lining up three new electrical stations with rather competitive price positioning. Interestingly, they use lithium-ion batteries supplied by the Chinese electric car giant BYD which are supposed to offer a lifespan of ten years.

We find the typical functionalities of this equipment: protection against overvoltages, undervoltages, overheating and short circuits, child safety, integrated cooling by fan, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections for remote control with a mobile application .

Compact and durable electrical stations

The PowerRoam 600 is the most compact (40.3×27.5×23.5 cm, 9 kg) of the three Ugreen power stations. It offers 680 Wh and can be recharged from the mains, in the car using the 12/24 V cigarette lighter socket or with a solar panel. It includes two 220V sockets, two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a car socket and two DC ports. For example, it can provide 14 hours of operation for a 40W camping refrigerator, recharge a phone 58 times, and operate an Internet box for up to 57 hours in the event of a power outage. The PowerRoam 600 costs €550.

The PowerRoam 1200 is the intermediate model (€1,000) offering a capacity of 1024 Wh. It takes the design of its little sister in a slightly more imposing format (43 x 30 x 26.8 cm). The connectivity is similar but the power allows more intensive uses, with the possibility of powering devices up to 2500W for DIY, gardening or even a coffee maker, an electric kettle and a microwave oven. Fast mains charging mode restores 80% battery life in 50 minutes. Two solar panels of 200W each recharge the PowerRoam 1200 in four hours.

Electric autonomy on wheels

We finish with the flagship, the PowerRoam 2200 at €1,799.99, which delivers 2,048 Wh and can power large equipment up to 3500W. It has 16 ports that allow you to power multiple devices simultaneously. With 25.5 kg on the scale and its much larger footprint, it comes with a trolley with four multi-directional casters and an integrated telescopic handle which makes movement easier.

When camping, it can power a 45W mini refrigerator for 38 hours, Ugreen announces. A 1200W electric drill can be used for 1.4 hours while the backup of a 360W domestic fridge lasts 12 hours. Fast charging from the mains takes 1.5 hours and up to six 200W solar panels can be connected in series.

Ugreen markets a range of foldable and portable 100 and 200W solar panels sold for 240 and 440 euros respectively.
