Ukraine-A second Mariupol ship to load metal to Russia-TASS

June 4 (Reuters) – A ship sent to load metal bound for Russia arrived in the port of the city of Mariupol in southeastern Ukraine, the Tass news agency reported on Saturday.

It is the second ship to arrive in Mariupol since Russia took control of the port city last month.

“The ship has arrived and is in the port,” the news agency quoted a port official as saying, adding that the ship was to load metal.

At the end of May, a first ship left Mariupol with a cargo of metal bound for Russia.

The Ukrainian authorities have declared this shipment of metal to Russia to be looting.

Russia indicated at the end of May that the port of Mariupol had been cleared and was once again open to commercial ships. (Report Lidia Kelly Melbourne, French version Matthieu Protard)
