(Reuters) – Ukraine’s state-owned utility Energoatom on Wednesday accused Moscow of blocking the delivery of diesel fuel to the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant after another power cut.

Electricity, recently restored, was cut again, forcing the plant to resort to emergency diesel generators, said Rafael Grossi, head of the UN atomic watchdog.

According to Energoatom, this new failure is linked to the strike of a Russian missile on the plant. Reuters was unable to verify this information.

“Energoatom has prepared and sent another batch of diesel to the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant,” the company said in a statement. “However, as of 10:00 a.m. (0700GMT), Russia does not allow the convoy of company vehicles to pass.”
