Ukraine: The Kremlin denounces “absurd” warnings after the Putin-Biden interview

MOSCOW, Feb 12 (Reuters) – Repeated U.S. warnings of Russia’s imminent military invasion of Ukraine have reached “absurd” levels, a Kremlin adviser said on Saturday after a one-hour telephone interview between Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden.

The Russian president said on this occasion to his American counterpart that Russia was not satisfied with the responses provided by Washington to its demands in terms of security, and criticized the West for not having put enough pressure on Ukraine to apply the Minsk agreements, he added.
