Back in Un Si Grand Soleil for several months, the son of Eve (Emma Colberti), whose dream was to acquire his own bar, was struggling with legal troubles that were ruining his life. Constantly on his back, the prosecutor Bernier made him sing about his parole, the small shenanigans of all kinds of the young man having ended up costing him dearly.
Knowing that the young man’s shenanigans could send him directly back to prison, the prosecutor then asked him to work on his behalf, carrying out undercover missions in various companies suspected of fraud to bring them down.
Pushed to the limit by Bertier, and now isolated after the departure of Montpellier from his great love, but also from his mother-in-law and his half-brother, Eliott, also at odds with his mother, had let himself sink by becoming addicted to anxiolytics. Saved from an overdose in extremis by his friend Charles (Nicolas Lancelin), he then decided to take control.
When Bernier offers him a new mission by asking him to investigate a theft of paintings, Eliott discovers that Virgil (Fred Bianconi), his mother’s ex-companion, is involved in it in spite of himself. He saw it as an unexpected opportunity to make a new start. Finding the stolen paintings, he decides to blackmail Virgil and the Receiver, by agreeing to return the loot to them on condition that he can keep two paintings for himself.
While at the same time, his mother is kidnapped by the man who stole the paintings and seeks to recover them, the pact made by Eliott will allow Virgil and the receiver to save Eve in time, while helping the police to bring them down. the dangerous criminal.
But while Bernier congratulates Eliott on the phone for his work and asks him to carry out one last mission for him before releasing him from his obligations, Eliott pretends to accept. In reality, he confesses to Charles his intention of leaving Montpellier to escape the prosecutor, using the money from the resale of the paintings to make a fresh start.
Sudden farewells, which will not have left Eliott the opportunity to see his mother again, now alone in the face of the void left by his son. She learns from Virgil that Eliott left Montpellier following the resolution of the theft of the paintings, for which she very nearly lost her life.
The links therefore seem to be indeed broken between Eliott and Eve, and the latter leaves Montpellier by car without looking back, having bequeathed his bar to his friends Charles and Dylan. Can we hope to see the character again one day in Un Si Grand Soleil?
According to Entertainment TV, its interpreter, Stéphane Monpetit, should be absent for an indefinite period from the soap opera in order to pursue his projects at the theater. But as always in the daily series, the door is never closed to the actors for a possible return.
