Unmasked in Innsbruck – Rote Ampel was the undoing of brazen thieves

Two shoplifters were up to mischief in Innsbruck on Monday. The two Hungarians are said to have stolen several sunglasses from a shop. Ultimately, however, they were only exposed because they had crossed a pedestrian crossing when it was red and were targeted by police officers.

At around 2.30 p.m., the two Hungarians (33 and 45 years old), who were well-known in their offices, were observed by police officers as they crossed the protective route despite the red light. “During the following official act, a total of eight sunglasses and price labels were found among the men. Finally, it turned out that the two suspects had previously stolen them from a shop, ”the executive reported. In addition, the further surveys showed that the two Hungarians are currently banned from staying in the country. “The men were arrested and taken to the Innsbruck Police Detention Center,” it concluded.
