This question, the gendarmes are still asking themselves after this spectacular theft costing around 100,000 euros.
A trailer stolen in complete peace of mind
According to information from Dauphine Libere, the crime was committed with disconcerting ease on the morning of Friday 25 February. At the wheel of a heavyweight tractor, a driver arrives at the regional warehouse of the sign, located along the RD 1006 in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier (Isère).
He immediately heads for the loading docks where there is a trailer that has just been loaded with sporting goods ready to be transported to the Drôme region. Once the trailer is hitched to his tractor, he leaves the warehouse. It was only an hour later that another driver, the real one this time, showed up to pick up the trailer… The gendarmes opened an investigation.
