USA-Hundreds of flights cut on Christmas Day because of Omicron


WASHINGTON, December 25 (Reuters) – U.S. airlines canceled hundreds of flights on Saturday as scores of pilots and crew were affected by the novel Omicron variant of the coronavirus.

A total of 937 flights were canceled on Christmas Day, after 690 the day before, according to the count by the flight tracking site FlightAware.com.
