Uzès Gestion launches an equity fund on the theme of biodiversity

(Boursier.com) — Uzès Gestion announced the launch of the ‘Prestige Luxembourg Uzès Biodiversité’ fund, open for subscription since March 20, 2024. This new fund targets companies whose activities contribute to the preservation of biodiversity. It is a new illustration of Uzès Gestion’s commitment to the protection of natural capital.

“At Uzès Gestion, we want to offer investors concrete solutions to respond to the climate emergency and the preservation of biodiversity. Because to date, the sector still lacks investment to achieve this, we want to contribute to our level of financing. We are also convinced of the growth potential of many companies which work on a daily basis to protect our natural capital”, declares Alexandre Perricard, Managing Director and Head of ISR/ESG at Uzès Gestion.

Uzès Biodiversité is a World Equity fund. The management team selects companies that are committed to and provide solutions to preserve biodiversity. The management policy of the Uzès Biodiversité fund is to invest in all capitalization sizes without geographical constraints. The benchmark index is the MSCI AC WORLD. The investment horizon is a minimum of 5 years.

Labeled Greenfin, Uzès Biodiversité is an Article 9 fund according to the European Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). It is co-managed by a pair with more than 15 years of experience: Arnaud Morvillez, manager of OPC Actions and Louis O’Connor, co-manager of the fund.
In addition, Uzès Biodiversité donates part of its management fees to the “Let’s commit to biodiversity” program supported by the “Play for Nature” endowment fund.
