Love is in the meadow makes its comeback on M6, Monday January 8, 2024. An appointment that viewers were impatiently awaiting. Among the 15 new farmers, there is Valentin, the youngest of this 19th season. Dairy cow breeder and mixed farming, the 26-year-old young man has always been involved in agriculture thanks to his uncle and his grandmother. The Norman left his love life aside in order to take care of his animals and he therefore hopes to find love thanks to the dating show. Karine Le Marchand, as usual, came to see the candidates and she wanted to give Valentin a lesson in flirting. “Have you never made the first move?” first asked the host, before adding: “So the two girls, Are they the ones who came and hit on you?” Valentin responds positively, then specifying: “I don’t really know how to take the first steps”. Enough to inspire Karine Le Marchand, who launched: “Okay, let’s have a little lesson.”

Karine Le Marchand has set herself the goal of helping Valentin. The host of Love is in the meadow therefore offered to flirt with her, in order to see how the farmer did it. “Imagine, I’m a girl, give me compliments. Imagine I’m younger”, she said with humor. For his part, Valentin initially appeared very embarrassed, before asking: “What do you want me to tell you?” After a few seconds of hesitation, he added: “Hello miss, you have beautiful eyes you know. You are pretty…”. Karine Le Marchand thanks him but her face says a lot about the depth of her thoughts… She wishes the farmer would let go more. “Ask him questions.”she replied, before continuing: “Finally, we don’t necessarily give ten compliments in a row.” To illustrate her remarks, she reminds the candidate of very important facts: “You don’t know my first name, what I do for a living, what I do here… Take an interest!” Still very embarrassed, he told her he understood what was being asked of him, also adding that he “needs time”.
