For Valentine’s Day, going to a restaurant can be a good gift idea. But living this experience at home, with a menu prepared with small onions by the casserole specialists can also be an exceptional present.

From her brand new Cicéron boutique, which puts chickpeas in the spotlight, the young chef Julia Sedefdjian has prepared a small basket ideal for spending an evening that smells of Provence. You will find a selection of spreads, an assortment of ten panisses, socca chips, a duck breast for two arancini, polenta and sweet potato, two chocolate crumble mousses for dessert, and a bottle of wine.

Mom by Stephanie Le Quellec

To bring out the big game, head to MAM by the brilliant Stéphanie Le Quellec. Its shop (caterer, pastry shop, delicatessen to take away) offers a menu for two that will sparkle. We start with a Mam’s Cosmo cocktail with a truffle croque. This is followed by a small series of amuse-bouche (raw salmon and caviar grains, royal duck foie gras or even golden scallops and coconut-lime nage), a Wellington beef tenderloin with truffle juice or a bass papillote with truffle butter. And finally, a “pure love” entremet: crispy caramelized almonds, soft almonds and light mousse.

Valentine’s Day marks the great return of Amandine Chaignot’s love pie with its potatoes and truffle Comté. She is part of a well-filled basket to pick up on site, in her restaurant Pouliche (Paris, 10th). In addition to this very beautiful piece to share, there will be three “saddle sessions” and a lovers’ dessert.
