Vampire Survivors predicts a busy 2024 – Gamosaurus

Phenomenon game of 2022, Vampire Survivors will have experienced a year 2023 rich in content, and does not intend to stop there for 2024. Just a few weeks after the deployment of its latest DLC, Poncle already announces that it is busy with the sequel. On the program, new content, online cooperation, cross-saves, and the development of a new version of the game. Because if Vampire Survivors is already available on various platforms, this is not enough for its creator.

There is no denying, as chaotic as it may be, the plan for
Vampire Survivors is very clear in the mind of its creator. After a patch 1.8 which introduces the partnership with Innersloth (Among Us), many ideas are still to be explored. Among the main projects are online cooperation and cross-saving. If the latter hopes to be launched in a test version in February, the cooperative mode is less easy to integrate. So even if things seem to be going well, we will have to wait a little before we hope to see him arrive.

But 2024 will above all be synonymous with expansion for Vampire Survivors. Poncle is already working on a new version of the title in order to bring it to another platform. If we won’t know which one it is, we know that streaming is the key. However, the studio confirms that only one version is in development. Since the porting is done entirely in-house, the creator prefers to focus on one platform at a time.

Vampire Survivors in 2024 and beyond

With that alone it would already be a busy year. But Poncle wants to add more content to Vampire Survivors. The result is a chaotic road map, without any order or date. If Honey Moon is the name of update 1.9 which arrives in February, the rest of the roadmap could very well not arrive in 2024. Suffice to say that the title still has a bright future ahead of it, especially with an animated adaptation on the way.

However, the most interesting announcement lies at the end of this press release, The Vampire Survivors Experiment. Presented as a collaborative laboratory between independent developers, the results could be as unexpected as they are hilarious. However, we do not know who is working in collaboration with Poncle, what are the results of these partnerships if any already exist, nor even if we will see one of these projects come to life one day. A total blur, but no less enticing.
