Cult role-playing game dating from 2004, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines will be entitled to a sequel, announced in 2019 by the publisher Paradox Interactive. But, after several years of development, Hardsuit Labs was returned, the project passed into the hands of The Chinese Roomwhich unveils this week a long video of gameplay :
The studio warns future players that there are spoilers between the 10th and 15th minutes of the video above. The sequence takes us alongside Phyrean ancient vampire, member of the Brujah in this part, who has just moved to Seattle and who investigates a mysterious mark on his hand, hindering his powers. So she sets off in search of WilliamA Nosferatuto help him, following him into a warehouse.
Despite all the good will of the developers who focus on the game in the second part of the video, fans are disappointed. Between the dated production, the spirit of the license which seems to be put aside, the limited dialogues or even the voice in the hero’s head which brings nothing here, the players are much less enthusiastic about the vision of The Chinese Room…
