Originally announced for this fall, Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider has finally set its release date for January 12, 2023. Published by The Arcade Crew, the neo-retro action game signed JoyMasher will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Amazon Luna.
Along with the release date announcement comes a new trailer for the title. Focused on the gameplay, it highlights the many destructive talents of the cyborg ninja Moonrider. Originally created to defend a totalitarian state, the cybernetic fighter eventually turns against its creator. Defying the power in place, he is ready to do anything to satisfy his thirst for revenge as sharp as his blade. The video thus makes it possible to discover the futuristic equipment made available to the robotic protagonist to exterminate everything that gets in his way.
Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider is inspired by classic action games. It offers a particularly lively and reactive combat system. It will be possible to improve the abilities of the cyborg ninja as well as to customize his style of play using modification chips scattered throughout the adventure. These upgrades will notably unlock more and more devastating abilities. Enough to satisfy his desires for revenge against the freedom-killing megacorporation in power.
