A happy couple. After winning no less than six trophies during the 2024 Césars ceremony – including best film, best direction, best actress and best original screenplay – the film Anatomy of a fall was rewarded again. The film co-written by Justine Triet and Arthur Harari, a couple in life, was indeed voted best original screenplay at the Oscars on March 10. To discuss this dazzling success, Arthur Harari spoke during his appearance on the show C the weekly, broadcast on France 5 this Saturday March 16. During the exchange, the director was questioned on numerous personal subjects, including his relationship with his partner. “How proud are you of her?” first asked the presenter, Aurélie Casse.
In a relationship with Justine Triet for more than fifteen years, Arthur Harari indicated that he was still in love and admiring. “First of all, I would find it a little paternalistic to say that I am proud of her… But I am rather admiring. In any case, since we have known each other, I have had an admiration for her”, he assured with great tenderness. Faced with Aurélie Casse, the director and screenwriter also admitted that he was fully fulfilled in his relationship. “She continues to impress me and interest me. When you build a story with someone, it’s not easy to have an interest maintained throughout,” he concluded.

Justine Triet: how did she meet Arthur Harari?
It was in 2007, during the Brive Festival, a true talent revealer, that Justine Triet crossed paths with her prince charming for the first time. While the actress, 29 years old at the time, received a mention from the jury for her medium-length film On the spotArthur Harari, 26, walked away with the Jury Prize for Hand on the face, the story of a bitter reunion between a father and a son. Unlike a fairy tale, there was no love at first sight between the two film professionals. It was only a year later that Arthur Harari found Justine Triet on the occasion of her 30th birthday.
