Vincent Cerutti is a personality that the French public knows well. He was the co-host of the show “Danse avec les stars” on TF1 alongside Sandrine Quétier for five seasons, becoming a familiar figure for viewers. The facts date back to 2015, when a new switchboard operator, aged 34 at the time, was recruited by Chérie FM to work in collaboration with Vincent Cerutti. Events worsened in November of the same year when Vincent Cerutti allegedly placed his feet on the operator’s desk, provoking a reaction from her which consisted of throwing one of her shoes at him. This action would have triggered a violent reaction from the host, who would have immobilized the young woman on the ground and bit her right buttock through her pants.
The victim reportedly filed a complaint for the first time in December 2017, but her complaint was dismissed in June 2019. However, she chose to persevere in her quest for justice by filing a new complaint on May 20, 2020, this time with constitution of civil party. This action led to the opening of a thorough judicial investigation. During this investigation, around ten employees of Chérie FM as well as members of the production of “Dancing with the Stars” were questioned by investigators. Several of them confirmed the inappropriate behavior of the host and highlighted the lack of intervention from radio management to correct them.
