Vinci: signature of an EPC contract in Germany


(CercleFinance.com) – Through its subsidiary Cobra IS and in a consortium with Sener, Vinci announces this evening that it has signed an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract for Germany’s first regasification terminal, at Brunsbüttel in mouth of the Elbe (North Sea).

The structure will have a production capacity of 10 billion m3 of natural gas per year and will have two reservoirs of 165,000 m3 each. It will also be equipped with systems, infrastructure and ancillary operating buildings.

Vinci specifies that this strategic infrastructure for the customer German LNG Terminal, will allow Germany to import liquefied natural gas by sea.

The installation must be delivered in 2026 with a construction period of 42 months
