(AOF) – Following obtaining authorization from the European Commission for the merger with the Lagardère group, the completion of which is notably conditional on the full sale of Gala magazine, Vivendi announces that it has received several offers for the sale of this one, currently owned by Prisma Media. “After examining these offers, it was decided to enter into exclusive negotiations with the Figaro Group which, if successful, will have to be approved as a buyer by the European Commission”, indicates a press release from Vivendi.
This proposed operation must also be subject to information-consultation procedures with the employee representative bodies concerned.
Owned by businessman Vincent Bolloré, Vivendi, whose title was replaced on June 19 by Edenred on the CAC 40, is confident of being able to finalize this operation by October 2023.
