Viviane Geppert reveals the best hair tip from the professional

We all have one thing in common: we love beautiful and healthy hair. And to get them, we don't necessarily have to run to the hairdresser once a week – usually it is enough to take a closer look at your care routine. Viviane Geppert knows that too. The moderator is not only celebrated for her likeable charisma or her cool looks, but also for her seemingly endless hair, which in some of us makes an extra dose of envy arise.

Viviane's dream mane is no accident. In addition to a bit of luck in terms of genetics, it is above all the right care and one or the other ingenious professional tip that makes your hair shine. We spoke to the moderator and elicited her tip.

Too much shampoo does more harm than good

And it's all about shampoo. We all love to foam our hair in the shower and massage the shampoo with relish. But do we also use the right amount of product for this?

You need a lot less shampoo than you think. Since I know this, I always mix shampoo with water in a bottle and have twice the amount. I didn't know that for a long time

, reveals Viviane Geppert.

A cent-sized amount of shampoo is enough

A simple professional tip with a big impact. Because too much shampoo is difficult to wash out completely. The residues ultimately make the hair dull and brittle and dry out the scalp. Instead, a cent-sized amount of shampoo is enough for fine hair to clean it thoroughly. Those who are blessed with a lot of hair don't use more than a euro-sized amount. And then it's time to rinse, rinse, rinse. Small rule of thumb: The hair is really free of shampoo if you rinse the product at least twice as long as you massaged it in.
