Two months ago, Vivien Blotzki was the first curvy model to win the “GNTM” title. Since then she has been jetting from appointment to appointment.

On June 15, Vivien Blotzki (23) won the 18th season of “Germany’s next top model”. She is the first curvy contestant to claim victory. But since then she has not only taken successful steps in the modeling world. She also completed her apprenticeship as a retail clerk. And she keeps making clear statements against body shaming on her social media account.

She often posts herself very freely

Anyone scrolling through Vivien Blotzki’s Instagram account will quickly notice: This young woman has a lot of self-confidence, which moderator Heidi Klum (50) also liked and encouraged during the show. “Heidi always made sure that my curves are visible and that I can show myself as I am,” said the winner in an interview with ProSieben. And the 23-year-old shows that extensively. On her Instagram account there is many revealing pictures. With a low neckline, in transparent clothes or even completely naked with just a small shell – Blotzki is not stingy with her curves. Even at appearances such as Fashion Week Berlin, she drew attention with her tight looks.

She opposes body shaming

But that’s exactly why she keeps getting hate messages. At the beginning of July, she was publicly annoyed: “A woman who shows her body is probably too much and if it is also one that still does not correspond to the ‘norm’ in society, many people take that as an opportunity to compose such messages.” So she was really angry. “I’m not mad because I have to read this, because I’m very conscious of myself, so I don’t care. But I’m mad that comments like this are responsible for young people out there not daring to do it what they feel like. That people get affected by comments like that in their own lives and don’t even get a chance to find themselves and build the confidence to fight it.” She wanted her account to be a safe place for these people. “Where there is a lot of love and positive vibes are sprayed.”

This is how her life changed

Many things have changed in the Koblenz native’s life since her victory. She travels almost non-stop, for example she walked the catwalk for designer Jasmin Erbas (38) at Berlin Fashion Week, attended the “Barbie” premiere in Berlin, advertised for the fashion brand Riani and recently jetted with some “GNTM” colleagues to Hawaii for the jewelery label Purelei. As a “GNTM” winner, she graced the cover of “Harper’s Bazaar” and is the advertising face for a campaign with the make-up manufacturer Mac Cosmetics. She has almost tripled her Instagram followers since the final: from 23,000 to almost 70,000.

In addition, she completed her training as a retail clerk. In July, she posted her final exam certificate and commented, “Chapter closed.” Because first of all she wants to concentrate entirely on modeling. It also fits that she is moving to a city of millions. On TikTok, her former comrade-in-arms Cassy Cassau (23) revealed that she is starting a shared flat in Hamburg with Vivien. “We’re moving to Hamburg together in a GNTM-WG and we’ll definitely take a lot with us.”
