Vivienne Jolie-Pitt served as a source of inspiration for her mother Angelina Jolie when she worked on the play “The Outsiders.” The 15-year-old volunteered to help her mom with the Broadway production.
Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 15, plays an important role in the production of the play “The Outsiders” on New York’s Broadway. The daughter of Angelina Jolie, 48, and Brad Pitt, 60, worked alongside her famous mom as an assistant on the musical, which premiered on Wednesday, April 3rd.
Angelina Jolie: “Viv reminds me of my mother”
When Angelina Jolie announced last August that she was producing the musical “The Outsiders” – an adaptation of the 1967 book by Susan E. Hinton and the 1983 film by Francis Ford Coppola – she announced at the same time that her daughter Vivienne wanted to support her in her work on a voluntary basis. “Viv reminds me of my mother because she’s not about being the center of attention, she’s about being a support to other creatives,” the Oscar winner said of her daughter. “She is very thoughtful, takes theater very seriously and does her best to do her part.” Angelina Jolie’s actress mother Marcheline Bertrand died in 2007 at the age of 56 from complications of ovarian and breast cancer. Jolie’s daughter, who was born a year later with her twin brother Knox, was named after her grandmother: Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt supports her in Broadway musical
Vivienne Jolie-Pitt appeared at the preview of the musical on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, together with the team from “The Outsiders”. Matt Dillon, 60, who played one of the main roles in the 1983 film of the same name alongside Tom Cruise, 61, Rob Lowe, 60, and Patrick Swayze, † 57, also did not miss this special premiere and attended the performance Visited and then posed with the crew in the group photo. The play will be seen at the Jacobs Theater on Broadway in New York from Thursday, April 11th.
Vivienne Jolie-Pitt is one of six children of former Hollywood dream couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, 60, alongside Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and twin brother Knox, 15.
