Vivo launches the V29 Lite in Europe, a complete and elegant smartphone at 350 €

After the V21 and the V23, Vivo returns to the mid-range market with the V29 Lite. Sold below 350 euros, the smartphone has a complete technical sheet and an elegant design, with a curved screen and back. Much less ambitious than the V23, but compatible with 5G and eSIM, the V29 Lite is also much more durable. Presentation.

While Oppo, OnePlus and Realme will stop in Europe because of a conflict with Nokia over fundamental patents, we wondered if Vivo, the other offshoot of the BBK group, would suffer the same fate. And it seems not. At least not for now. Indeed, the Chinese brand unveils this June 29 on the European market the V29 Lite, a new mid-range smartphone. It is available today at the recommended retail price of 349 euros.

The V29 Lite succeeds, in the V range, the V21 and V23 that we tested in our columns in 2021 and 2022 respectively. But the V29 Lite is not as ambitious, quite the contrary. The V29 Lite is more aggressive and much cheaper too. From 419 euros for the V21 and 529 euros for the V23, the V29 Lite goes below 350 euros. Its advantages: a fairly complete technical sheet and an interesting design, curved at the front and at the back. The V29 Lite also takes up the double circular photo module that you also find at Honor, Huawei, Oppo or Realme. Note that the chassis is IP54 certified.
