This week, vivo unveiled a new smart phone
for the European market. This is the V23 5G, a mobile that emphasizes its design but also its photo capabilities.
But that’s not all since the Chinese manufacturer also promises stunning performance for gamers.
Pictures or nothing!
We understand from the outset that this vivo V23 5G was designed to satisfy budding photographers and other influencers. Indeed, it is the first mobile phone to carry a 50 MP front camera (with dual flash) coupled with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The goal is to obtain shots of excellent quality day and night. Artificial intelligence and multi-frame denoising should prove useful in the darkest environments.
On the back of the smartphone, there is a triple camera module consisting of a 64 MP main lens supported by an 8 MP super wide-angle and a 2 MP Super Macro. The mode Extreme night vision is also supported. Let’s close this chapter by specifying that the vivo V23 5G offers many photo features such as the ability to capture selfie videos in 4K, to blur the background via the function Portrait Bokeh Flare or to sublimate the portraits using the Party Portrait and Multi-style portrait.
An unusual design
In addition to being an accomplished photophone, the vivo V23 5G intends to dazzle its future owners with its atypical style. Extremely thin in terms of its chassis, this mobile phone will also be able to change color after being exposed to the sun. Indeed, the back will turn from sparkling gold to turquoise thanks to a surface sensitive to UV light. Note that a starry black version will also go on sale.
Finally, let’s finish with more usual technical specifics since the V23 5G is equipped with a 6.44-inch Full HD + AMOLED screen compatible with HDR 10+. All with a refresh rate of 90 Hz to optimize fluidity while playing. An ultra game mode and a liquid cooling system are also on the trip. For the rest, a MediaTek Dimensity processor
920 (5G) is there with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM. The 4200mAh battery supports 44W FlashCharge function for fast charging.
The vivo V23 5G will be released in mid-April in France. The price has not yet been communicated but it could be around 500 €.
