The longtime "Nachtstudio" presenter and culture journalist Volker Panzer has passed away. He was 73 years old.
The cultural journalist and presenter of the ZDF "nachtstudio" Volker Panzer died at the age of 73 in Berlin. His house broadcaster announced this in a press release. Accordingly, Panzer died on August 13, 2020. So far, no information has been given about the cause of death.
Born in Saarland, he initially worked as a reporter for the ZDF formats "aspekte" and "Terra X", and later switched to the German broadcaster Kultur. From 1994 to 2012 he directed and moderated the "nachtstudio" and wrote numerous books on the side. In his talk show, Panzer invited people from culture, society and science and discussed major human issues.
