Voltalia: sells 33% of a solar power plant in Brazil to STOA – 2022-03-15 at 18:26


(CercleFinance.com) – Voltalia announces the sale of 33% of its 320 MW solar power plant in Brazil, the SSM1&2 solar power plant, to STOA, an investment fund specializing in infrastructure projects in developing and emerging countries.

Currently under construction, the solar power plant is due to enter service in the first half of 2022. SSM1 & 2 is backed by five power sales contracts with an average duration of 16 years.

SSM1 & 2 is part of the ‘Serra Branca’ cluster, entirely developed by Voltalia. It is the largest wind and solar cluster in the world with a potential capacity of 2.4 gigawatts.
