From March 16, Michelle Obama will encourage children to cook. The former first lady is part of the Netflix show "Waffles + Mochi".

The former US First Lady, Michelle Obama (57, "Becoming: My Story"), is among the TV chefs on the Netflix streaming service. Barack Obama's wife (59) posted a funny photo on her Twitter account announced that their cooking show "Waffles + Mochi" will start on March 16 this year. As the name and the plush co-stars on the published photo suggest, this is a program that is aimed at a young audience and is intended to bring them closer to a healthy diet.

Obama is "more than thrilled" to be able to tell her followers about her upcoming show. "I am looking forward to families and children from everywhere accompanying us on our journey, where we will discover, cook and eat delicious food from all over the world." Together with Obama, the two eponymous dolls Waffles and Mochi are supposed to leave the "land of frozen meals" and get to know fresh, healthy foods.
