Gwen Stefani looks back with a child’s photo – and celebrates the present. She was selected for a star on the Walk of Fame.
Gwen Stefani (53) celebrates her future star on Hollywood Walk of Fame with a child’s photo. That she will receive the award next year feels “like a dream”.
She shows up in elementary school
In an Instagram post The singer posted the comment for a child’s photo: “Who will tell her that she receives a Hollywood Walk of Fame star?! This feels like a dream!” In the flashback photo, she is of elementary school age and wears a brave side-parted hairstyle with a hair clip. A second photo shows the singer radiant in adulthood – also with clips in her hair.
31 stars will receive the star in 2024
The No Doubt frontwoman also thanked everyone “who made this possible”. She is one of 31 stars who will receive a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. Those responsible for the award officially announced the “Hollywood Walk of Fame Class 2024” last week.
Among them are Gal Gadot (38), Chris Pine (42), Michelle Yeoh (60), Maggie Gyllenhaal (45), Toni Braxton (55), Dr. Dre (58) and the band Def Leppard.
Gwen Stefani is already familiar with the star award: In May her husband Blake Shelton (47) received the coveted award. She had supported him at the big moment together with her children from her first marriage.
