Durable goods orders for July will be released at 2:30 p.m. (FactSet consensus +0.6% in preliminary data, +0.2% excluding transport). The promises of housing sales for the month of July will be revealed at 4 p.m. (consensus -2.3%). The Department of Energy’s weekly report on domestic oil inventories for the week ending August 19 will be announced at 4:30 p.m.

Nvidia and Salesforce publish their quarterly accounts after trading on Wall Street this evening. Snowflake and Autodesk will also be there in the evening. Nio Inc., Splunk, NetApp, Williams Sonoma and Boxare also due to reveal their latest figures today.
