Warcraft director provides update on Hearthstone and WoW projects


John Hight, new General Manager of Warcraft, provided an update on the 2022 roadmap of its license, and in particular the ongoing projects of the side of Hearthstone and World of Warcraft, on PC and on mobiles. We thus learn that the WoW on mobiles, announced several times for 2022, will be presented with first images and information for next May.

Warcraft has a bright future ahead of it. In the meantime, the next expansion for World of Warcraft will be unveiled on April 19, and the game’s esports scene will celebrate its 15th anniversary on the same date. For Blizzard, the next seasons promise to be epic, between the Arena World Championship and the Mythic Dungeon International. Registrations are open until March 28.

Hearthstone side, the development team will share details on the first of three expansions planned for the game this year on March 15. Other projects for 2022 are also expected, including changes to the fundamental set. As a reminder, the GMs are in progress until March 27, you can continue to follow them live on Youtube. Finally, the April 2 and 3, follow the Lobby Legends: Raid Leaders tournament, the first Battlegrounds event of the year.
