Warzone Pacific: A cheater raged because of RICOCHET

Few months ago, Activision announced the implementation of a new anti-cheat software called RICOCHET, software allowing to harm the cheaters of Call of Duty games, and more particularly Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific. If it is available since the implementation of season 1 of call of duty vanguard and Battle Royale, it must nevertheless prove itself. However, despite a few hiccups, some cheaters have not been spared, as evidenced by a publication Reddit.

A cheater sees his software fail in full stream on Warzone Pacific

Even if we are still quite far from the performances announced by RICOCHET, the software seems to be gradually proving its worth, and it is indeed on Reddit that the community Warzone Pacific could be happy about that.

In a publication posted by Exeltv0406, we are dealing with a clip grouping together several actions of a Battle Royale player who uses cheat software. Even if the latter does not admit that he cheats, his actions are clearly questionable, especially when we see his viewfinder going directly to where the enemies are who are then impossible to guess if we do not have the right equipment.

If he thinks he can carry out his actions quietly and kill the other players as if nothing had happened, RICOCHET has not decided so. In this same video, the cheater and streamer sees his cheat software become totally dysfunctional, preventing him from moving as he wishes. RICOCHET has indeed deactivated certain functionalities, thus blocking it for the future.

The most absurd in this video is most certainly the fact that the cheater dares to complain and rages his part while he is cheating. According to his words, he will come back later when he has “fixed” his problem… We can assume that he will certainly use another cheat software.

In the future, we can hope that he gets banned outright from the games, as these toxic behaviors are hurting Battle Royale more than ever. Nevertheless, we must allow a little more time for RICOCHET be truly effective. According to the words of the team working behind this software, several updates will be rolled out based on player feedback.

Since November 2021, Call of Duty Vanguard has joined our consoles and PCs, for our greatest happiness or misfortune. According to the Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific community, the latter would be just a simple Battle Royale DLC…
