“We are angry”: Laurent Ruquier confides in his falling out with Edouard Baer

On the occasion of the unpublished number of Big Heads broadcast this Saturday, January 22, Laurent Ruquier confided in his estrangement with Edouard Baer at the microphone of Ophélie Meunier on RTL.

This Saturday, January 22, was broadcast an unpublished number of Big heads on France 2, just before We are live. In the spotlight in the program for this Saturday evening, Laurent Ruquier was for the occasion invited to the Unexpected log by Ophélie Meunier on RTL.

The journalist then took the opportunity to question him about his ambitions related to Big heads and asked him in particular if there was a personality he would dream of recruiting into his team. What Laurent Ruquier answered in all sincerity “Edward Baer“, but, there is a but.

“There were misunderstandings between him and me”

The 58-year-old host was initially very clear and complimentary in his response: “I’m thinking of Edouard Baer. That would obviously be an amazing big head, with his sense of improvisation, this genius of the verb”.

This one nevertheless continued by being very mysterious around a falling out between Baer and him: “It may come as a surprise because we don’t know each other, we may even be angry and there were misunderstandings between him and me. Therefore it’s not for tomorrow”, did he declare. Laurent Ruquier did not give more details and thus closed the question “Edward Baer”.

The listeners did not have the end of the story but it would therefore seem that no collaboration between Laurent Ruquier and Edouard Baer is possible for the moment, despite the host’s praise for the actor. Wouldn’t those two be better enemies? Perhaps time will tell.
