Natasha Amal was this Saturday October 22 the guest of TPMP People, program presented by Matthieu Delormeau on C8. Other guests were also present, in particular the former candidates of the star Academy as maudeseason 5 contestant, Mario Barravecchiafinalist of season 1 against Jenifer and Houcinefinalist of season 2 against Nolwenn Leroy.
The 54-year-old actress, who has become rarer on television since the end of women of lawthis detective fiction which made the heyday of TF1 from 2000 to 2009. Natacha Amal played Elisabeth Brochène, deputy prosecutor alongsideIngrid Chauvin who played Lieutenant Marie Balaguère.
On the set of TPMP PeopleNatacha Amal returned to her relationship with her former partner. “The first few years were absolutely idyllic. We really got along like two sisters. We had a lot of fun. It was a time when we laughed a lot in the work“, she confided. “And then afterwards, she had a huge success, I congratulate her on that. And it colored our relationship a little bit“, she added. The actress also spoke of her complicated relationship with Nathalie Laurent, the director of fiction at TF1 at the time: “TF1’s new fiction director didn’t like me. There, I was really blocked (…) I didn’t know this woman at all. I questioned myself, I said to myself: ‘Maybe I had a bit of arrogance back then'”.
Natacha Amal and Ingrid Chauvin back in women of law ?
In 2007, Ingrid Chauvin left her role as Marie Balaguère in women of law. She continued to play other TV movies for TF1. In an interview at Cine TV Review in August 2021, she admitted to not having heard from her former partner: “With Natacha, we haven’t been in touch for a very long time. I couldn’t even tell you what happened to her.“She however revealed not to be against a return of women of law with Natacha Amal: “Why not. Afterwards, it corresponds to a period, to a very distant time… I was very young“, she expressed.
This same question of replaying women of law was posed by Matthieu Delormeau to Natacha Amal on the set of TPMP People : “It was a super nice series and we had an extraordinary complicity“, she replied.
