It’s official: the big video game trade show Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is back in 2023!
Remember that the show was canceled in 2020 and 2022, and offered an entirely digital 2021 edition.
E3 is back!
There was a time when E3 was indisputably the most anticipated event for gamers around the world. In mid-June, the eyes of the world were on Los Angeles, with a show that was the scene of major industry announcements (Metal Gear Solid 2, Zelda: Twilight PrincessNintendo Wii, Halo 2, etc.). In recent years, E3 has lost its luster, not to mention the COVID epidemic which forced the organizers to cancel the last editions…
Today’s good news is that E3 is back! Indeed, the organizers have formalized the dates of E3 2023, which will therefore take place from June 13 to 16, 2023. This edition will take place face-to-face and will benefit from a new formula, in particular by separating professionals from the general public.
For the first time, the ReedPop agency will be in charge of organizing E3. The latter has already been the source of many very popular meetings, such as PAX, Star Wars Celebration and New York Comic Con.
It remains to be seen whether E3 2023 will manage to shine “as before”, with the show now having more competition, not to mention professionals in the sector who now prefer to manage their communication digitally, rather than traveling to shows.
