Weaccess: change in progress

(Boursier.com) — In the 1st half of 2022, the turnover of Weaccess amounted to 533 kE (641 kE in the 1st half of 2021. It fell by -17%. This drop in turnover is linked to the consumer operator activity in white broadband areas, while professional turnover ( fiber and Centrex offer) is progressing.

The operating result shows a loss of -43 kE (-218 kE in the 1st half of 2021). The net result also comes out at -43 kE. This reduction in losses is due to the reduction in expenses related to the operation of the networks and to aid for the “5G convergence” project.

The year 2022 marks, for Weaccess Group, the transition from network operator for white areas to the industrial market (industry 4.0) and the business of 5G SA equipment supplier for the specific needs of industry and services. Weaccess Group is now developing intensive prospecting on industrial markets which should soon allow the conclusion of the first private LTE contracts, and is making a significant investment in the software part of 5G SA equipment.
