Weather: cloudy skies and stormy deterioration from the west

SSaturday, May 14, the start of the day will be calm across the country, with sometimes a little gray weather in places, according to Météo-France forecasts. During the morning, over the western half, the sky will gradually become cloudy and the weather will become muggy.

On the relief of the Massif Central and the Pyrenees, isolated but locally stormy showers will be possible from midday. But before the end of the afternoon in western Brittany, as well as in southern Aquitaine, the weather will become very threatening.

Sometimes strong thunderstorms, with a risk of hail and gusts of wind, will break out and spread across the entire Atlantic coast in the evening, before shifting towards Normandy. On the eastern half of France, apart from a few showers on the Jura and Alpine terrain, the weather will remain sunny despite sometimes cloudy skies.
