Actress Alice David replaces Julia Piaton in “What the hell have we all done?”, in theaters April 6, 2022. But for what reason? Answer with Télé Star.
It is long awaited. While the second part of “What the good Lord did we do?” was released in theaters in 2019, the third part, entitled “What have we all done to the good Lord” is about to be broadcast from the April 6, 2022. Still with Philippe de Chauveron directing, this new production will follow the adventures of Claude and Marie Verneuil who are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. On this occasion, their four daughters are going to organize a big surprise party at the family home in Chinon. Obviously, the parents of each son-in-law will be invited. The couple will then welcome under their roof the parents of Rachid (Medi Sadoun), David (Ary Abittan), Chao (Frédérique Chau) and Charles (Noom Diawara) for a family stay of the most eventful.
Julia Piaton absent: who replaces her and why?
If on the men’s side the cast does not change, there is however movement among the women. Indeed, for the sequel to “What have we done to God?”, the actress Julia Piaton has given way to Alice David. Known for her role in the series “Bref”, she has also been seen in “Les Profs”, “Never the first night”, “Babysitting” or even “Demi-sisters”. But then, why did the interpreter of Odile Verneuil-Benichou, the wife of David Bénichou, not attend the filming? Well quite simply for a question of timetable. “Because of the Covid, the filming schedules were turned upside down. Julia was not available so we gained an extra sister” explained Frédérique Bel and Noum Diawara in The Question Box of Thursday March 31, 2022 broadcast on Canal +. As a reminder, Chantal Lauby and Christian Clavier hold the main roles.
